Learn the skill of needle felting in this workshop and create a needle-felted moth or butterfly to contribute to our community art project!
This four-hour workshop led by Mallory Zondag will teach you needle felting techniques so you can bring your own felted moth or butterfly to life.
All Living Wall Community Project workshops will culminate in a collaborative community sculpture. The sculpture will be made up of works created by community members during the various fiber art workshops held throughout the summer, all made using a variety of techniques such as wet felting, needle felting, and embroidery. The final project will take inspiration from local pollinators and flora, and the completed sculpture will be unveiled at a reception in October. The sculpture will then be displayed in the Library as a testament to the community's creativity and connectedness.
