Community Field Trip: Shaker Heritage Society

Meet us at the Shaker Heritage Society for a docent-led tour! For adults only.

The Shaker Heritage Society is a nonprofit organization that offers educational programming about the Shakers, their innovative spirit, and their influence on American culture. This approximately one and a half hour tour will lead us through the Church Family site, where the Society’s offices are located. The property includes nine remaining Shaker buildings, herb garden, open fields, apple orchard, Ann Lee Pond nature preserve, and the Shaker cemetery where the founder, Ann Lee is buried. 

All tour and program fees are paid for by the Library. Please be sure to register each attendee separately. Parking is available onsite.
