Reading Garden, Piracci Board Room

First-time participants are always welcome!

Dive into a true crime narrative of an unsolved 1969 murder at Harvard, of obsession and love for a girl who dreamt of rising among men. We Keep the Dead Close is a memoir of mirrors, misogyny, and murder. It is at once a rumination on the violence and oppression that rules our revered institutions, a ghost story reflecting one young woman's past onto another's present, and a love story for a girl who was lost to history. 2020, 499 pages.

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library provides a wide range of materials, programs, and services to the residents of Clifton Park and Halfmoon. We are a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System. Our mission is to nurture and foster community connections by providing the space and resources for patrons to be educated, entertained, and enriched. Our vision is to be at the heart of our community.
