As Season Two of the popular HBO series gets underway on October 29, enjoy an illustrated talk on how Troy’s 19th century architecture became an integral backdrop to the series "The Gilded Age."
Presented by Kathryn Sheehan, Rensselaer County & Troy City historian. Kathryn worked with location scouts and production designers, as well as providing information on how Troy appeared during the Gilded Age and who the actual players were that represented “old” and “new” money. She will also share some of the behind-the-scenes stories that happened during the filming of Seasons One and Two.
