Cookbook author and renowned food critic Ruth Reichl joins us as part of our Two Towns-One Book events.
Ruth Reichl is the author of the cookbook, My Kitchen Year: 136 Recipes That Saved My Life and served as Editor in Chief of Gourmet Magazine from 1999-2009. In the years prior, she was the restaurant critic at both The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, where she was also named food editor. As co-owner of The Swallow Restaurant in the '70s, she played a part in the culinary revolution that took place in Berkeley, California. In the years that followed, she served as restaurant critic for New West and California magazines.
Ms. Reichl's books will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of the Open Door Bookstore, and she will be signing books.
