October Siberians is bringing their mobile kennel to our library for an educational, hands-on, sled dog program!
Rob Farley, October Siberians owner and musher, will start the afternoon off with a Power Point presentation on the cultural history of the sport, the dogs, and running a kennel. He will then lead us outside to meet some real sled dogs! We will explore the equipment they use, and have the option of helping to pull a dog sled. Dress for the weather.
Indoor program space will be limited based on room capacity.
